About
American Legion Post 568, also known as Indian Valley Post 568, has been a steadfast presence in Greenville, California, since its charter in 1941. Located at 430 Main Street, the post has long served as a hub for veterans in the community, offering support, camaraderie and a commitment to service.
In August 2021, the Dixie Fire devastated much of Greenville, including the American Legion Hall. Despite this loss, the post’s spirit remains unbroken. Post 568 continues to play a vital role in the community. Members participate in local events, such as leading parades and sporting events and they support youth programs like sponsoring students to attend Boys State.
Monthly meetings are held on the second Tuesday at 7 pm, providing a space for veterans to connect and collaborate on initiatives that benefit the wider community.
