The Indian Valley Thrift Shop, a hub for affordable finds and community connection in Greenville, is seeking volunteers to help staff the shop. Volunteers are invited to give back to the community while supporting this vital local resource. Interested individuals are encouraged to visit the thrift shop at 101 Pine Street and complete a volunteer contact form.

In addition to the call for volunteers, the Thrift Shop is inviting community members to attend its monthly meetings. These gatherings are held on the third Tuesday of each month, with the next meeting scheduled for Tuesday, February 18, at 3:30 p.m.. The meetings take place at KD’s home, known as the Ayoob House, conveniently located near Plumas Bank. “This is a perfect opportunity for volunteers and supporters to connect and stay informed about the shop’s activities,” said volunteer Sherilyn Schwartz.

Schwartz announced that some exciting changes are coming to the thrift shop. Shoppers will enjoy fresh displays and new merchandise. “Whether you’re looking for unique treasures or practical items, the updated inventory is sure to offer something for everyone,” she said.

Thanks to the mild winter weather, the Indian Valley Thrift Shop is able to maintain its regular hours of operation, remaining open from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., Tuesday through Saturday.

The Indian Valley Thrift Shop is grateful for the community’s ongoing support. With your help, it can continue to thrive as a resource for affordable goods and a gathering place for friends and neighbors.
