Riley’s Jerky has been a family owned business since 1980.

Riley Burkholder founded Riley’s Jerky in 1981. Our beef jerky plant is located in Greenville, California, a small mountain town located in Northern California, far from the large city atmosphere. We would like to express our extreme appreciation to our local customers since this business was founded. Our company has been steadily growing every year since.

Riley’s Jerky is owned by Kaley Bentz (Riley’s grandson) and operates with a small staff of six, hard-working and dedicated people.

Kaley purchased the business from Britt Burkholder (Riley’s son) and Bradley Bentz (Riley’s son-in-law). Riley’s is, and has always been, a family-owned-and-operated beef jerky business, and it is important to us that it stays that way.

Our style of beef jerky results in even the smallest bag being a meal, rather than just a snack.

Every single piece of our beef jerky is hand cut from solid pieces of whole muscle beef, which gives it a thick, homemade style for every piece we produce.

This texture and our long overnight marination process result in jerky full of beef and marinade flavor. We use only naturally grown spices and do not add any preservatives to our beef jerky recipes. After slowly drying the meat for 20 hours, the jerky is packaged and ready to ship to our customers.
